Word won’t connect to the internet – Microsoft Community

With in Word I have one user that when they try to select a template they get an error message stating “Unable to connect to Microsoft Office Online”.

Try Again or Troubleshoot your internet connection. Internet connection works fine. Anyone know how to fix this? If they are getting the template from Office Online, they have to have administrative rights to install it. Is the user an admin? Have you tried doing the same logged in as an administrator to load the same template? Im having the same problem, what policy.

I uninstall the workstation anti virus and still having the problem. Don’t remember exactly but I could watch my firewall live monitor and monitor the traffic from the PC that was having the issue and saw the site being blocked to that particular time.
