For example, as the cursor approaches the endpoint of an existing line, the cursor jumps and locks onto it. The AutoCursor is located in the General Selection bar.

Figure 15 shows what options Mastercam has to preselect geometric features using the AutoCursor. To enter the coordinates of a point you can press Space bar or simply start to type the X, Y, Z coordinate values. The values are separated by commas and should be entered in this order; first the X value, then a comma, then the Y value followed by a comma and then the Z value. Press Enter to finish the point. If you enter the specific label X, Y or Z in front of the value, you do not need to enter the coordinates in the specified order.
